Tea drinkers are cordially invited to visit the Bigelow Mobile Tea Bar to sample complimentary cups of Bigelow tea and learn the story of family-owned Bigelow Tea, fascinating lore and tempting flavors of the world’s favorite brewed beverage.
“Bigelow Tea’s flagship brand, “Constant Comment”® tea, was created by my grandmother in 1945 in the kitchen of her New York City brownstone,” says Cindi Bigelow, third generation president and CEO of the family-owned company. “Today we make more than 130 blends so it’s a great opportunity for consumers to sample many of our teas.”
“What makes these visits particularly meaningful” according to Cindi, “is that it gives us the chance to meet consumers in person and share a cup of tea with them through this fun, interactive, mobile tea experience. We are especially proud to share that a quality cup of tea isn’t about price, it’s is about the detail that goes into our family recipes.”
Bigelow representatives will accompany the customized 1977 Airstream trailer that has been retrofitted to welcome the press and public into the friendly, inviting environment of Bigelow Tea for a relaxing experience, to sample teas and taste new products. The fun, informative, interactive Mobile Tea Bar will also offer tea lovers the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of tea, the top quality ingredients that go into American-made, family-crafted Bigelow Teas, and the company’s commitment to sustainability and the community.
Visitors to the Mobile Tea Bar will also have a photo opportunity to share a cup with “Biggie,” Bigelow Tea’s walking mug mascot and enter for a chance to win instant prizes using #BigTeaBar.
The Bigelow Mobile Tea Bar will open its door at street fairs and festivals in major market cities. Admission is free.
